The two ageing units in
Montecavolo di Quattro Castella (province of Reggio Emilia) and
Castelfranco Emilia (province of Modena) are located in the heart of the official zone of origin of Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese and offer storage capacity for 440,000 rounds of cheese.
Montecavolo Unit
The Montecavolo unit is the largest and most modern Italian facility for ageing "grana" cheese.
The facility is set in a 36,000-sqm site, of which 17,000 sqm cover - five blocks connected by a corridor 140 m long offers the possibility of accommodating up to 285,000 rounds of cheese.

Castelfranco Unit
The Castelfranco Emilia unit, acquired by Magazzini Generali delle Tagliate in 1998, completes the offering for the provinces of Reggio Emilia and
Modena.
The unit is set in a 30,000-sqm site, of which 9,000 sqm covered and has storage capacity for up to 155,000 rounds of cheese.
The presence of a Credem bank branch inside the facility makes it easy for customers to execute all financial transactions. See map
